By entering the “Count on Cash” Contest (the “Contest”), entrants agree to abide by these Official Contest Rules and Regulations and the decision of Sunlite Mortgage (the “Sponsor”), which are final and binding.
The Contest begins at 09:01 a.m. Eastern Time on January 1st, 2022 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on December 5, 2022 (the “Contest Period”).
The Contest is open to all licensed real estate agents and financial advisors in Ontario, not employed by Sunlite Mortgage. The winner must have a valid license and in good standing with their governing body for their ballot(s) to be eligible for any prize. If the selected ballot isn’t valid at the time the grand prize is selected, we will select another entrant until a referrer with a valid ballot is selected.
How to enter
Refer a client who wishes to Purchase, Refinance, Switch or Transfer (applications) their mortgage with Sunlite Mortgage. Mortgage applications received by the Sponsor and funded by the sponsor between January 2, 2002, and 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on December 5th, 2022, qualify for entry in the Contest. Each entrant will receive 1 ballot for the first 2 funded deals and 1 ballot for each funded deal thereafter.
Referral Sources will be paid .1% of the total mortgage value approved for each batch of five deals i.e., five mortgages of $500,000.00 each or $2,500,000.00 would be paid $2,500.00. The five ballots would also be entered in the draw for grand prize of $20,000.00 scheduled to be drawn on December 19th, 2022.
One (1) grand prize in the amount of $20,000 (Canadian dollars).
A random draw will be conducted in Toronto from among all eligible entries during the Contest Period at
12:00 pm on December 6th, 2022. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
Selection of Winner
The selected entrants will be contacted by phone, email, and LinkedIn by a representative of the Sponsor and must reply within 48 hours to maintain eligibility. The selected entrant must answer an arithmetic skill testing the question to receive the prize. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within this time period, fails to respond to any attempted contact, fails to answer the skill-testing question or is otherwise ineligible for the prize, such potential winner will be disqualified, his/her entry will be declared null and void, and the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to select at random another eligible entry, in which event these provisions shall apply to such other eligible entry. Entrants will receive their cash prize through email.
Any personal information collected will be handled in strict accordance with the Sunlite Mortgage Privacy Code and all applicable privacy legislation. By entering this Contest, the entrant hereby consents to the Sponsor’s collection, use, and disclosure of the entrant’s personal information to manage and administer this Contest.
The act of entering the Contest constitutes acceptance of the Contest rules and the decisions of the Contest judges, which decisions shall be final and binding upon all entrants. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest or the Contest rules at any time without notice. All prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for anything else.
This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws. Except where prohibited by law, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Contest Rules and Regulations, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the Province of Ontario without regard to Ontario conflicts of law principles.
Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcohols, des courses et des Jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement
