Mortgage Agents and Brokers’ jobs in Ontario

Verico Sunlite Mortgage helps home hopefuls become homeowners, and frankly, we have more leads than we can handle. We’re looking for newly registered or licensed, experienced Mortgage Brokers and Mortgage Agents to add to our ever-expanding team. The successful candidates will work with a team of fellow Agents, brokering deals for the sale of commercial and residential properties regardless of the income and credit of potential buyers. We work with single-family dwellings and commercial properties, so if you have experience within these markets, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities and duties include:

  • Follow up on leads for buyers and sellers
  • Assess the financial status and circumstances of potential borrowers
  • Ability to research the market to determine a suitable, cost-saving mortgage product
  • Assist your client with obtaining a pre-approval for a mortgage
  • Collect all necessary documentation to complete the mortgage application.

Qualifications and Skills

  • You must be 18 years of age or older
  • You must be a permanent resident of Canada
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not mandatory
  • Must have completed the provincial mortgage agent’s course
  • Experience as a mortgage agent a plus but not required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge of computer programs and processes
